Small lap dogs and dogs up to 30 pounds are acceptable, however, this will limit room choice to the “Maid of Carson Room” only!

What is your policy regarding children?

Children are welcome! Ages 0 to 5 years may present a problem as this type of accommodation is not designed to be childproof.

What type of breakfast is served for early morning hikers ?

For those outdoor enthusiasts who want to get an early start, we do provide cereal or oatmeal with toast or muffins, coffee and juice. Otherwise, a full country breakfast is served at 8:00 am. Please let us know the night before if you plan on an early breakfast the next day.

Do you serve lunch of dinner ?

No. There are a number of great restaurants in Lake City, some requiring reservations for dinner. We maintain a full list of restaurants in the area and neighboring towns for your use.

What are check-in and check-out times ?

Check in is between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, however, special arrangements can be made. Check out is at 10:00 am

What is there to do in Lake City, Colorado ?

There are a million things to do in the area for all ages. There is fishing, hiking, backpacking, water rafting, four-wheel tours, jeep trails, and old mining towns. In town there are specialty shops, antique shops, an ice cream parlor, museums, churches, putt-putt mini golf, horse ack riding, canoeing, boating, and a few hundred thousand more activities.
